Depends on your definition of booster. If you're playing games, a good "booster" would be upgrading your system memory (I have 4 GB) and installing a good quality video card from ATI or Nvidia (like a single 512MB or a pair of 256MB running bridged) and a kickin' sound card running Dolby 7.1 is always a plus.
